Home Depot Tool & Truck Rental has deployed self-service kiosks at high-volume locations. The penetration of fully self-service transactions is growing at double-digit annual rates as operators discover that kiosk ROI breaks even within 12-18 months of deployment at medium-volume locations. The remaining counter is increasingly a fallback channel, not the primary one.
