Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AI Job Checker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Service is operated by AIJobChecker.com, a trading name of Peritus slf., a company registered in Reykjavik, Iceland ("we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service, whether on a free or paid basis.

2. Description of Service

AI Job Checker provides analysis of how artificial intelligence may affect specific job roles. The Service is offered at the following tiers:

Free Analysis

Any visitor may run a free analysis for any job title without creating an account. Free analyses include an overall AI impact score and a summary overview.

Essential Report (Tier 1 — $9.99)

A one-time purchase that unlocks the full task-by-task breakdown showing how each task contributes to your overall score, risk factors with impact levels and timelines, skill gaps to close, internal leverage moves, your strongest adjacent career move with a score comparison, recommended courses with quick-start picks, a 30-day action plan with weekly checkpoints, and watch signals to monitor.

Complete Report (Tier 2 — $14.99)

Includes everything in the Essential Report, plus an automation map plotting every task by automation likelihood vs. career differentiation value, deep evidence tabs with detailed analysis per task and risk factor, three adjacent roles with task-level deltas and bridge skills, full mitigation strategy with portfolio projects and if-this-then-that playbooks, a three-month learning roadmap sequenced by risk severity, and an interactive personalisation matrix that tailors the strategy to your specific context.

Report Packs

Bundled credits for multiple job analyses at a discounted rate: 3-Job Essential ($24.99), 3-Job Complete ($34.99), 5-Job Essential ($34.99), and 5-Job Complete ($49.99). Pack credits do not expire and may be applied to any job title.

3. User Accounts

An account is required to purchase subscriptions, manage monitored jobs, and access subscriber features. Free analyses and one-time report purchases can be completed without an account; reports are delivered to the email address provided at checkout.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep it current. Notify us immediately at support@aijobchecker.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Purchases and Payments

All paid products — one-time reports, report packs, and subscriptions — are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the legal seller for all transactions. Paddle issues your receipt, calculates and remits applicable VAT and sales tax based on your location, and handles refund requests.

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Paddle may display localised pricing or convert currency at checkout; the USD amount is the authoritative price. We do not store your payment card details; all payment data is handled exclusively by Paddle.

5. Report Delivery and Access

Upon successful purchase of an Essential or Complete Report, a report link is delivered to the email address provided at checkout. Each link contains a unique access token that identifies the report without requiring an account login.

For non-subscribers, report access tokens are active for 30 days from the date of generation. After this period, the report URL will no longer be accessible. Subscribers with an active plan retain permanent access to all reports generated during their subscription.

We are not responsible for reports that cannot be delivered due to invalid email addresses, spam filters, or other delivery failures outside our control. If you do not receive your report within a reasonable time, contact support@aijobchecker.com.

6. Refund Policy

All purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. Paddle's refund policy applies to all transactions made through the Service.

Single Reports and Report Packs

Under Paddle's consumer terms, you have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of purchase and receive a full refund — provided you have not yet accessed or downloaded the report. Once you access, download, or otherwise acquire the digital content, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for that purchase.

If you have not accessed the report, you may request a cancellation and full refund within 14 days. To do so:

• Reply to the receipt email you received from Paddle at the time of purchase, or
• Email support@aijobchecker.com and we will coordinate with Paddle on your behalf.

Beyond the 14-day consumer right, refunds are provided at Paddle's sole discretion on a case-by-case basis. This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to products that are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.

Subscriptions

You have a 14-day right to cancel following your initial subscription purchase (this right does not apply to automatic renewals). After that period, or once you have accessed subscription content, subscriptions may be cancelled at any time by contacting us at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the next payment date; you retain access until then. There are no refunds on unused subscription periods.

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact Paddle or our support team for assistance.

7. Report Packs

Report packs are bundles of analysis credits purchased at a discounted rate. Credits may be applied to any job title at any time and do not expire. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. Each credit redeems one report of the corresponding tier (Essential or Complete).

See Section 6 (Refund Policy) for pack refund eligibility.

8. Subscriptions

Subscriptions are available at three tiers:

• Starter — monitor 1 job, $9/month or $90/year
• Multi — monitor 3 jobs, $19/month or $190/year
• Pro — monitor 10 jobs, $29/month or $290/year

All active subscriptions include:

• Monthly re-analysis of each monitored job with updated scores and findings
• Monthly digest emails summarising changes across your monitored jobs
• Breaking-change alerts when significant AI developments affect a monitored role
• Updated action plans reflecting the latest monthly analysis
• Ability to switch monitored job slots to different job titles at any time within your plan's slot limit
• Permanent access to all reports generated while your subscription is active

Auto-renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date. You may cancel via your subscription dashboard or by emailing support@aijobchecker.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. See Section 6 (Refund Policy) for details.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, analyses, reports, scores, methodologies, and materials provided through the Service are the property of Peritus slf. and are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use your purchased report for personal and internal business purposes only. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly publish any report content — in whole or in part — without our prior written consent.

10. Informational Disclaimer

All analyses, scores, action plans, and other outputs provided by the Service are informational only. They are based on current publicly available research and our own analytical methodology as described at aijobchecker.com/methodology.

The Service does not provide career advice, employment advice, or predictions of future employment outcomes. AI impact scores reflect conditions at the time of analysis; the technology landscape evolves rapidly and actual job market outcomes may differ significantly from any analysis provided. Scores are reviewed and updated on a monthly basis.

You should not make major career or employment decisions based solely on any output from the Service. We recommend consulting a qualified career professional for personalised advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular analysis is complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Peritus slf. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim or (b) $25 USD.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest data from the Service using automated means without our express written consent
• Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the performance of the Service
• Impersonate another person, entity, or Peritus slf.
• Share, resell, or commercially redistribute report content without prior written authorisation
• Use the Service to generate outputs intended to mislead others about the nature or limitations of AI impact analysis

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user found to be in violation of these restrictions.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Changes to pricing or subscription terms will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice.

Continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and, if applicable, cancel your subscription before the effective date.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from or related to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Reykjavik, Iceland for the resolution of any such dispute.
